This is another splendid looking Wade & Butcher "The Celebrated" Anglo-Saxon concave vintage razor in excellent condition. Considering this razor is anywhere from 120 to 150 years old I'd say it's looking damn magnificent.
The razor was professionally restored preserving as much as the engraving would allow.
The custom scales are Ruby Red Acrylic. This is a higher grade acrylic with superb optical clarity, scratch resistant, excellent resisting to natural aging and heat resistance.Has been tapered with a bone line micarta wedge.
The blade is very clean with no rust, cracks, chips or disturbing stains..
The blade measures 11/16.
Very subtle smiling edge and spine.
Grind: 1/4 Hollow Concave, Barber's notch.
Bottom of tang has jimps.

Hardware: Silver nickel pins. Stainless steel and brass washers

Centers nicely and pins are tight.
Extremely beautiful condition and example of at least a 120 years old Wade & Butcher razor.
